Doug Halsema writes: Notice the horse / mule tied up in the background. I have not been able to figure out which boy is Henry. If he is the younger one than the older one is probably my grandfather Anthony Lambert Halsema Sr. But I don't know. In any event the photo must have been taken between 1892 and 1900 because Henry was born in 1892. Jackie Halsema guesses the younger boy is about 3 of 4 and the older one 5. Eddie Herrmann writes: The picture shows the Quigley/Bradshaw/Horgan house and a little of the old post office that was just between Horgan's and Leo DeRosier's.

Maria Agness Duwel Halsema: Lambertus' Second wife whom he married after his first wife, Mary Margaret Axe Eyanson Halsema, died. She was known as Agnes. This photo appears to have been taken later than the 25th anniversary 1909 photos of her and Lambertus. --DGH

This is Marie Agnes Duwel, Lanbertus Julles Halsema's 2nd wife, in her later years probably at her home in Miami, FL. She was know as Agnes. --DGH
