1929 House in Miami, FL on 1629 NE 1ST ave. Home of Maria Agnes Duwel in her later years with her son Bernard Hermann Halsema. Note Street car track on the road and big building in the background which became Lindsay Hopkins Vocational School. It was built to be a hotel, but was never completed due to a bust in the building boom. Anthony Lambert Halsema Jr. says the Lindsay Hopkins building was constructed of Terra Cotta block.
